When we have no enthusiasm, we always make up various reasons to convince ourselves why we can’t maintain enthusiasm. We don't want to be enthusiastic because we don't want to raise our hopes too high. We are not sure, we are worried about others' comments. These are all excuses. Your enthusiasm should not be swayed by others or by meaningless insecurity. True enthusiasm is unstoppable!
